SUMATRA SAPO ZUMA ZUMA TREKKING: VOLUNTEERING, TEACH ENGLISH AND KEY SKILLS

We are always looking for volunteers to join us whether you want to help as a long-term volunteer or just come along to visit one of our lessons. You can contribute by teaching children English, helping with arts and crafts or teach any other skills you may have (Tree Planting, dance, drawing etc.)

Volunteering at our school is suitable for anyone. You could be on a gap year with a few weeks (or even months!) to spare, a family who would like to introduce their children to helping the community and interact with the local children whilst helping them develop or on a relaxing holiday with a few hours free.

You will receive a warm welcome from our teachers who are always delighted to meet new people and show you around their villages in their free time.

We do not have a fee to volunteer, we just simply ask for a donation that you feel appropriate to the school. If you would like to volunteer long-term we have accommodation available at our school for a small cost. If you would like home made Indonesian food Fitri will be happy to cook for you.
